Agency

Some have determined to ignore the feverish passions of many
in positions of governmental authority because the arguing and condemnations of
all sides make them weary. Please do not turn off you’re “hearing aids.” Listen
to the spirit, to your conscience, to your good sense, and to the constant drum
of change that is overwhelming our entire system of government and destroying
the very freedoms for which so many have died to preserve.
This is a joyous battle cry to young and old. It is not a
condemnation of our country, our leaders, or “we the people.” We must rally to
the cause. We must sincerely and fervently humble ourselves, look to God for
understanding, feast on the words and concepts of temporal and spiritual
leaders, then act according to the direction we are given. In recent days I
have been contacted by several groups, including Freedom Works, Allied tea
Parties organizations, and others asking for donations to “the cause.” I have
been polite, but very pointed in telling them that more cash would be
forthcoming when they determined that singing to the choir through advertising
was not only expensive, but highly ineffective. I sincerely believe that
proactive efforts to create positive opportunities for individuals and families
which will bless lives and, by extension, assist our great country and God
given freedoms solidly in place.
Incomprehensible as it may seem to us as mortals, the author
of this inalienable right is God. Those of us who have had the marvelous
opportunity to experience this great gift have been able to speak, write,
worship, live, work, play and enjoy life in every way. The only restriction is
that we live by the natural consequences of our deeds. A system which provides
abundant opportunities for all citizens to share the blessing of agency, a
system of governing laws has been created, with the United States Constitution
as it foundation. Virtually all of our founding fathers expressed the notion at
one time or another that government and law were enlisted to protect the
people.
The limitations to government expressly denoted in the
constitution have infuriated bureaucrats and elected officials over the
centuries. Recently one supreme Court Justice, former director of the ACLU,
Ruth, B. Ginsberg commented noted that she (one of the sworn defenders of our
constitution) would much rather see an emerging democracy with whom she was
working, use anything other than the US Constitution as it’s map to their
future. The governing bodies in cities, counties, states, and at the federal
level have pushed at the seams of the bulging balloon they have crafted to the
point of imminent fracture. Several states are at what has been referred to as
“Grecian Status” and are in imminent danger of bankruptcy and foreclosure to
the Federal Government, once again providing unconstitutional abridgments of
the limitations dictated by the constitution.
Some of you disregard Glenn Beck and The Blaze as fringe and
a little crazy. Regardless of your notions on this subject, he is doing things
that are highly proactive and positive. He is encouraging us to read and study
and understand history. He is encouraging us to protect our families by using
Rich Dad, Poor Dad techniques of securing grub, gold, ground, God, guns, etc.
He is encouraging each of us to step up to the place and implement ways of
helping our families and others. My desire is to encourage each of us to get
off our respective duffs and rise to the occasion.
